Spring
Monday, March 22, 2010 at 7:34PM Spring is beginning to pop out everywhere. After a long winter it's always great to see signs of new life.

There's a lot going on right now at FBC. We are gearing up for our high attendance Sunday on Easter Sunday. Our goal for Sunday School is 150 and 300 for worship. I hope you are planning to be with us on that Sunday. We have distributed almost 1,000 door hanger packets for "Across Dupo." I hope you are continuing to pray that God will use them to open doors around our community.
The adult choir has been working hard on the Easter musical Look to the Lamb. The first performance will be during the morning worship service on March 28th. There will be another performance on Thursday evening, April 1st, at 7:00 p.m. There will be a fellowship following the Thursday performance.
We are promoting the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for Home Missions through Easter Sunday. Our goal is $2,500. This year's emphasis is "Live with Urgency: Share God's Transforming Power." With nearly three out of every four people in the United States, Canada and their territories living without a personal relationship with Christ, it is easy to see how urgently people need to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. Only God is powerful enough to transform the lives of those living in sin or living without hope that is found in eternal salvation. Please be in prayer about what God would have you give.
Don't forget that we have two remaining Lenten luncheons. March 25th will focus on the Journey of Betrayal with Pastor Kim Kelly as speaker. Thursday, April 1st, we will focus on the Journey to the Cross and Dennis Dawson will be the speaker.
Be sure to check out the new Spire. April is full of FBC events.
